The Cincinnati Art Museum is hosting "A Happening" at the Art Climb on June 18.
Modeled after so-called "happenings" staged by the likes of Andy Warhol and Yoko Ono — which the CAM describes as "live, experiential art events designed to dismantle conventions and facilitate an atmosphere of creativity, self-expression and fun" — this fundraiser will include live music by Young Heirlooms and DJ Mowgli, as well as a performance by dance troupe Pones.
In addition to entertainment, there will be food and drink. Everything is included in the ticket price and proceeds will help benefit the museum.
The party will take place on the Art Climb steps at the corner of Gilbert Avenue and Eden Park Drive 6-10 p.m. June 18. Tickets are $75 for members and young professionals and $100 for general admission.
Guests must be 21 or older.
