Pyramid Hill's Canines & Wine happy hour returns this summer with another collaboration with Animal Friends Humane Society.

The pet-friendly adoption event and humane society fundraiser will take place from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 27 and invites guests to bring their pup to enjoy a walk around the 330-acre park, live music by Your Ol' Pal Don Pruett, dog-friendly activities and plenty of vino from the Grand Pavilion bar.

Admission to the event is the ticket fee to Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park & Museum, which costs $8 — or guests can can bring a bag of pet food or two bags of treats and get in for free.

"Animal Friends is fortunate to partner with Pyramid Hill for a second event this year” says Animal Friends Humane Society’s Executive Director Tara Bowser in a release. "These public events are crucial in helping us find loving homes for the animals in our care, as well as to help spread awareness of the vast programs and services that our nonprofit organization offers to our community."

According to the release, the Animal Friends Humane Society's Petmobile will be onsite to offer same-day adoptions to prospective families.

“We are very excited to have the Humane Society back for Canines & Wine” says Pyramid Hill’s Art and Programming Manager Gabi Roach in the same release. “Since the Park is pet-friendly, we have a great opportunity to partner with Animal Friends to get these animals interfacing with the public and, hopefully, adopted to a forever home. It’s also a lot of fun to see our park members out with their own furry friends.”

The release says guests can expect an art activity where you can "turn your pup's paw print into a masterpiece."

Snag a Pyramid Hill Pet Package, which comes a branded bandana, pet waste dispenser, two homemade treats and a sticker at the event or online
