- 15-ounce can of Skyline (or your favorite Cincinnati-style chili)
- 12-ounce package of shredded cheddar
- Mustard and onion, if desired

It’s not a Cincinnati celebration without goetta! Load up slices of pumpernickel with cheesy goetta for a portable party snack with very little prep time.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. hot goetta
- 1 lb. hamburger meat
- 1 lb. Velveeta cheese
- ½ tsp. of garlic powder
- 1 tsp. of salt
- 1 tsp. of oregano
- 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
- ½ cup milk
- Rye or Pumpernickel bread
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees
- Brown goetta and hamburger meat in skillet and drain.
- Add Velveeta cheese, garlic powder, oregano and Worcestershire sauce.
- Stir in milk until desired consistency is achieved
- Spread cheese-meat mixture on bread slices and bake for 5 minutes until sides of bread are toasted and cheese is bubbling.
- Cool and enjoy.
To bring Frisch’s to your Super Bowl party, make this pizza version of their classic Big Boy sandwich. By swapping Frisch’s Tartar sauce for pizza sauce and topping it with cheesy ground beef, you transform a regular pizza into a Cincinnati special.

- 1 pre-made pizza crust or homemade crust
- 1 9-oz. jar of Frisch’s Tartar Sauce (original or spicy)
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- Shredded lettuce as desired
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
- Lawry’s seasoning salt
- Salt and pepper

Montgomery Inn Barbecue Chicken Sliders
Put a Cincinnati spin on barbecue chicken sliders by using Montgomery Inn barbecue sauce. The smoked gouda brings a depth of flavor, while the cilantro provides a hint of freshness to this fan-favorite dish.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Line parchment paper on a 9” x 13” baking dish and spray with cooking spray
- Split buns and place the bottom in the baking dish
- Combine chicken with half of the barbecue sauce. Spoon chicken onto each bottom bun and top with the leftover half of sauce
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella, smoked gouda, red onions and half of the chopped cilantro over the chicken. Grind some fresh cracked black pepper on top, if desired
- Add the top buns, cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes
- In the meantime, melt butter and add the remaining chopped cilantro
- Remove the foil, brush the tops of the buns with the cilantro butter, and return to the oven, uncovered, for 10 minutes until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is gooey.
