CityBeat loves this journey for you.
Over six seasons, viewers fell in love with the quirky Schitt's Creek, which focused on the Rose family finding its footing in a town full of offbeat but caring characters. The series — created by father/son duo Eugene and Dan Levy and starring both Levys along with Catherine O'Hara and Annie Murphy — swept up countless award nominations and wins, including several Emmys and the GLAAD Media Award.
The show ended on one of the most beautiful finales ever.
Then it was all over, and we kind of felt like heading to the Galapagos Islands to drown our sorrows.
But the Levys finally have come to our rescue with more Schitt's Creek, this time in book form.
Father and son have written Best Wishes, Warmest Regards: The Story of Schitt's Creek, a coffee-table book that celebrates everything from the series' groundbreaking writing to the seemingly endless wigs and sweaters used on the show. The book drops Tuesday, Oct. 26 at bookstores everywhere.
Eugene Levy and Dan Levy will celebrate the book's launch with an event at the Beacon Theatre in New York City the night before the on-sale date. And while most Cincinnatians won't be able to attend in person (unless you buy tickets through LiveNation this week and feel like traveling during a pandemic), a livestream will be simulcast as the Levys take the Beacon stage. Fans can purchase tickets for the livestream plus a hardcover copy of Best Wishes, Warmest Regards (it will be mailed to you following the event) for $62. The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 25.
