Apple cider on ice with cinnamon

The first weekend of fall is upon us and the chillier weather has really brought on some cozy vibes. If you’re visiting a pumpkin patch this weekend pick up some apple cider, which gives this recipe the perfect autumnal flavor.

Apple Cider Mimosa

Makes: 4 glasses

Ingredients:

  • 1 apple
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 bottle of champagne or prosecco
  • 4 oz. brandy or dark rum
  • Champagne flute

Directions:

  1. Slice apple into thin slices for garnish.
  2. Combine brown sugar and cinnamon on a plate. Dip the rim of the champagne flute in water, then into the sugar mixture.
  3. Poor 1 oz. brandy or dark rum into the flute, then fill the glass up a quarter of the way with apple cider, top the rest off with the bubbly and enjoy.
