The University of Cincinnati is having a massive homecoming celebration this weekend to coincide with the Bearcats' winning streak and ESPN’s College Gameday coming to the city for the first time. Students, alumni and fans alike won’t want to miss out.
No. 2 ranked UC will be playing Tulsa at 3:30 p.m. at Nippert Stadium in Clifton. ESPN reports that the UC Bearcats are favored by 23 points against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.
Kickoff Party
A kickoff party on Campus Green starts the weekend off strong on Friday, Nov. 5. At 7 p.m. there will be a family-friendly pep rally featuring Head Coach Luke Fickell and Director of Athletics John Cunningham. Pre-registration is closed, but registration may be available at the check-in table, according to Program Director of Special Interest & Athletics Engagement Sydney Kavish.

ESPN’s College Gameday
Live from The Commons in front of Tangeman University Center, the popular pre-game show will broadcast during the lead-up to the game against Tulsa on Saturday, Nov. 6. UC’s Associate Director of Communications Zach Stipe says lines for “The Pit” —the area nearest the stage the show will be filmed from— begin at 5:30 a.m., so rise and shine early and bundle up if you want to be on ESPN.
There also will be an earlier chance to have your 15-minutes of fame. Gameday will shoot live for its ABC Good Morning America segment inside of Nipper Stadium from 7:30-8:45 a.m. Friday. Fans and students are invited to come and show their support.

Get your Bearcat pride on while watching floats, dancers and marching bands make their way down Clifton Avenue on Saturday. Get there early and find a prime spot.

Bearcats Football Gameday
Join other UC students, fans and alumni for a pre-game tailgate on The Grid at Campus Green. Get fired up and cheer on the players, cheerleaders and coaches during the “CATWALK” as they walk through the middle of The Grid to Nipper Stadium about two-and-a-half hours before game time.
Eden Garage parking and shuttles services begin at 6 a.m. Parking is $15 for those who prepay at cpaw.io/cgdparking. Cash parking will be $20.
