For their fifth-annual crawl, event producer Bar Crawl USA is sending you festive hooligans to seven different bars around the neighborhood.
All the bars have drink specials and some will have food for those who need to eat up before they drink up.
For $19.99, participants will get a T-shirt, an ugly sweater crawl koozie, a lanyard with holiday bingo and discounted drinks. You will get access to the crawl kick-off party, livestreamed Christmas movie trivia (with prizes available) and the after-party.
Santa and his reindeer will be stopping by:
- Mr. Pitifuls (registration takes place here noon-3 p.m.)
- Pins/16-Bit (1-4 p.m.)
- Revel (2-5 p.m.)
- Below Zero Lounge (3-6 p.m.)
- Over-the-Rhine Eatery (3-6 p.m.)
- The Drinkery (4-7 p.m.)
- OTR Live (6-8 p.m.)
Start off the day at Mr. Pitifuls by trying a $4.50 St. Nick Shooters or Jingle Bell Punch or possibly both.
Then, make your sleigh (get it, sounds like "way") to Pins/16-Bit for free arcade games and drinks like the $6 Sugar Cookie Shot — made with vanilla vodka, butterscotch, Rumchata and topped with a red sugar rim — or a $10 Bad Santa — a Budweiser with a shot of Jack Daniel's and topped with a candy cigarette.
Jingle all the way down to Revel for a $5 Grinch cocktail and a festive DJ from 2-5 p.m.
Check out a drag show and grab a $3 Blue Christmas shot at Below Zero Lounge.
Grab some seasonal snacks at the Over-the-Rhine Eatery like the Ugly Korean Korndog for $5 or some Ugly Duckling Ramen for $10. If you need another pick-me-up, grab some $5 holiday sangria or a $3 Ugly Christmas shot.
Get the perfect pictures for your Christmas card at The Drinkery, where there will be a photographer and a DJ throughout the night, as well as $4 pink lemonade shots and $5 Santa's Makers that’ll really get you into the festive mood.
Finally, stumble your way to the after-party where you can get your T-shirt and a $5 Christmas in OTR made with peppermint Rumchata, Captain Morgan, creme de cacao and grenadine.
Bar Crawl USA says you will need a ticket to participate in trivia, as well as gain entrance into some bars that will only allow crawlers during their time slots.
The event is not guided; each bar will have a sign letting participants know when to be there for the crawl.
Participants must be 21+ and have a valid ID.
