The Cincinnati Music Festival is set to return on July 21-23.

The Cincinnati Music Festival will return next week after being postponed multiple times due to COVID-19.

The festival, headlined by Janet Jackson, Charlie Wilson and Ari Lennox, will take place July 21-23. An opening night performance on July 21 by BJ the Chicago Kid and Lennox will take place at the Andrew J Brady Music Center. The rest of the event will take place at Paul Brown Stadium. Find the full lineup at cincymusicfestival.com.

“We are excited to be back, bringing the best acts back to Cincinnati for the 2022 Cincinnati Music Festival presented by P&G,” said festival producer Joe Santangelo in a release. “We will abide by any federal, local and state health guidelines that might be in place at that time, as our priority is to keep everyone safe."

The Cincinnati Music Festival has been around since 1962, and a study by the UC Economics Center shows that the fest provides a $107.4 million economic impact to the region, according to the press release.

A star-studded lineup for the 2020 Cincinnati Music Festival was announced in February of 2020, however, in May it was postponed until 2021 due to COVID-19. Then in March of 2021, the festival was rescheduled again due to similar concerns.
