KIND, the company that helped revolutionize the granola bar industry (they substitute the processed ingredients for fruit and whole nuts), is now selling plant-based ice cream bars. For a limited time on June 11 and 12, Cincinnatians will have a chance to try these plant-based frozen dessert bars for free.

Throughout the summer months, KIND will be stopping at ten different locations in the U.S. — including Cincinnati — to provide free samples of their plant-based frozen dessert bars to the masses.

Hungry customers can stop by KIND's "Better Than Ice Cream" Truck for free samples of the company's KIND FROZEN Treat Bars on June 11 at the Kroger in Forestville (7580 Beechmont Ave.) and on June 12 at the Kroger in Sixteen Mile Stand (11390 Montgomery Rd.). The ice cream truck will be parked outside of those Kroger locations from noon-6 p.m. The event is first come, first served.

Similar to its snack bar equivalent, the KIND FROZEN Treat Bar is primarily composed of whole almonds or peanuts. Each bar is fully plant-based and made using almond or peanut milk, chocolate, nuts and nut butter.

Currently, Cincinnatians can find at least three varieties of these KIND FROZEN Treat Bars at Target and Walmart — Dark Chocolate Almond Sea Salt & Nut, Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate Nut and Mint Chocolate Almond & Nut.
