The inaugural Cincinnati International Jazz Festival will be held at the ICON Festival Stage at Smale Riverfront Park this weekend.
Put on by Rainbow Promotions and Robbie Todd Productions, this two-day celebration will host tons of jazz musicians including Brian Culbertson, Avery Sunshine, Norman Brown and more.
“Cincinnati has a longstanding history of celebrating vibrant music that moves and inspires,” president and CEO of Rainbow Promotions Kim Benoit said in a release. “We are thrilled to present some of the most talented musicians in the world for a celebration that the city deserves.”
Day one of the festival will feature headliners Avery Sunshine, Norman Brown, and Alex Bugnon. On day two, Brian Culbertson, with over 40 Billboard No. 1 singles, will perform along with eight other jazz musicians.
“I’m excited to be back in Cincinnati, home of King Records, Bootsy Collins, Skyline Chili, and so much more,” Culbertson said in a release. “Gonna be a blast!”
The festival will also host retailers offering everything from accessories to clothing to art, plus food and drink vendors.
Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 2 and 11:30 a.m. Sept. 3. Tickets range from $60 to $185 and are available online now and at the box office starting at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 2.
