Milkman OTR recently opened in Revolution Rotisseries' previous location on Race Street.
The spot, which serves up nostalgic vibes as well as smash burgers topped with everything from jalapeno cream cheese to Cincinnati chili plus fried chicken sandwiches, milkshakes and more, opened on Sept. 6.
Milkman is owned by Pesola Hospitality Group which currently operates Revolution Rotisserie and Bar in Pleasant Ridge and soon Amador Cuban Restaurant and Rum Bar at Newport on the Levee.
The menu features a unique take on diner food with fried chicken sandwiches that range from the classic (topped with dill pickles) to Thai (topped with spicy cucumber slaw and sweet chili sauce) as well as “not a burger” options like hot dogs, salads and Italian beef sandwiches.
There are also options for non-meat eaters including tofu nugs plus the meat for any of the chicken sandwiches can be switched out for fried tofu from local CinSoy.
The spot wouldn’t have its name without its long list of soft serve, sundaes and shakes. They’ve got regular shakes plus a selection of booze-infused options including a Grasshopper, espresso martini and a PB & Jameson (made with peanut butter, cocoa and Irish whiskey). For those who stray away from dairy, there are also boozy slushies.
