Nothing says winter or the holiday season in Cincinnati quite like ice skating downtown. The UC Health Ice Rink will open for the season Nov. 5 at Fountain Square, but skaters can reserve their spots now.
Fountain Square is also the only rink in the Tri-State to offer the chance to drive a bumper car on ice. They offer two kinds of sessions skaters can book: bumpers and skating for $15 or skating only for $10. For bumpers and skating, the ice will be divided into two sections with skaters on one side and bumper-car drivers on the other.
The skating rink is open to everyone of all ages. Children 4 and under can skate for free, but they must be accompanied by an adult on the ice and are not allowed to use the bumper cars.
The rink is open seven days a week until Feb. 20 and you can view the hours for each day on the rink’s reservation calendar, where you can also book your time.
The ice rink is presented by Fifth Third Bank and managed by 3CDC.
