Described as “a delicate mixture of pineapple-ginger tequila, lime, agave, and ube tincture,” the drink tastes more like a tropical vacation than a winter drink.

Somerset's bottled Ube Margarita

Somerset has launched online ordering for bottles of their mystical-looking and delicious-tasting Ube Margarita.

The Over-the-Rhine bar unveiled their new winter look and menu back in December. While it was all oh-so-enchanting and ethereal, the Ube Margarita with its disco lime garnish stole the show. Described as “a delicate mixture of pineapple-ginger tequila, lime, agave, and ube tincture,” the drink tastes more like a tropical vacation than a winter drink. That, of course, makes it perfect for those bleak winter days.

A bottle of Ube Margarita will set you back $40 but comes with enough mix for five 5-ounce drinks. As an added bonus, each bottle comes strung with disco limes for garnish.

Patrons can purchase their bottled Ube Margarita and then schedule a time to pick up their order from Somerset.

Somerset is located at 139 E. McMicken Ave., Over-the-Rhine. Pre-order your Ube Margaritas at toasttab.com.
