Bockfest, Cincinnati's favorite debaucherous celebration of dark beer, springtime and goats, will stumble into the city for its 31st year March 3-5.

The event will be sponsored by Sonder Brewing, and Bockfest Hall will again be located at Findlay Playground (1811 Vine St.) in Over-the-Rhine’s Historic Brewery District. The festival moved to that location in 2022 after years of being held at the now-defunct Moerlein taproom.

All the favorite Bockfest traditions will also return, including the Bockfest Parade, the 5K and the Beer Games.

The Precipitation Retaliation Happy Hour will be held at Northern Row Brewery & Distillery the week before on Friday, Feb. 24. Then, the official Bockfest celebration will kick off with the parade on Friday, March 3, stepping off from Arnold’s Bar & Grill at 6 p.m.

On Saturday, March 4, the Bockfest 5K will start at Bockfest Hall at 10 a.m. You can register for the race here. The Bockfest Beer Games will also be held Saturday, as well as Sunday, March 5. There will also be Brewing Heritage Trail tours and historical programming throughout Saturday and Sunday.

Bockfest Hall opens for all the fun at 6 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. on Saturday and noon Sunday. Tickets and more information can be found at bockfest.com.
