Fountain Square is kicking off spring in a big way with Frisch’s Mobile Roller Rink.

You can check out the roller rink throughout the month of April. This is the first time the rink will be at Fountain Square, with Court Street Plaza having hosted it as a pop-up during the summer last year. It will also double as a pickleball court during the day.

3CDC says the rink will have 4,300 square feet of floor space and the sport-court-style flooring allows it to be multi-purpose for skating and pickleball. The rink will also host a variety of events throughout April, including the Rollout Party with The Buzz’s Lincoln Ware and DJ Diamond on Saturday, April 1 from 2:30-5:30 p.m. You can find all April programming on Fountain Square's calendar.

There will also be the WGU Ohio Tent where visitors can take a break with a drink or snack.

“We are thrilled to debut the Frisch’s Mobile Roller Rink at Fountain Square. Our team has been working with community partners to plan special events that will bring energy and excitement to the heart of Downtown,” Christy Samad, senior vice president of event management for 3CDC, said in a press release. “The rink will be a new and unique addition to the Square this spring, offering events and activities for people of all ages and skill levels. We can’t wait to see our patrons get to experience the Square in a new way.”

Hours and prices for the rink and experiences vary. You can make reservations for roller skating here or reservations for pickleball here. 3CDC says walk-ups are also welcome as space permits, but only cashless payments are accepted.
