CityBeat's annual Sugar Rush candy and confections smorgasbord takes over the Cincinnati Art Museum from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Aug. 8 for an evening of stuff-your-face, all-you-can-handle unlimited sweet samples.
Unleash your inner kid-in-a-candy-store — and invite your own child — as you explore a colorful candy extravaganza. Local bakeries, sweeteries and other vendors will be bringing their best cupcakes, ice cream, donuts, pies, pastries and chocolate. Guests can vote for their favorite treat of the night and the winner will receive bragging rights and an award to display at their shop for a full year. There will also be a panel of expert judges handing out special recognitions for the most creative creations.
This event is open to all ages; kids under 8 are free with a paying adult. Tickets ($20) include unlimited sweets samples (and some savory ones), plus admission to the museum's Terracotta Army: Legacy of the First Emperor of China exhibit.
