BLINK Cincinnati 2022 Gets Mixed Reviews on Social Media

The BLINK art and light festival took over 30 blocks of Downtown Cincinnati, Over-the-Rhine and Covington from Oct. 13-16.

Back for its third run since the events in 2019 and 2017, BLINK 2022 once again brought in a slew of local and international artists to illuminate the city with architectural projection mapping, light-animated murals, glowing sculptural installations and more. After some initial concerns when founding creative partners Brave Berlin pulled out of this year's event, new BLINK Executive Director Justin Brookhart told CityBeat in a preview interview that attendees can "please feel free to judge us after October.”

And judge they have, with BLINKgoers taking to social media to offer their impressions β€” not all of them positive. Keep scrolling to see BLINK reactions from Twitter and Reddit.
