Regardless of whether this year has felt like its crept by at a snails pace or ripped through your personal stratosphere at lightning speed, November is here which means the holidays are upon us. And, yes, whatever you celebrate and however you celebrate it is definitely going to look different this year (people will probably be getting packs of face masks from grandma instead of socks), but that doesnt mean you cant still spread a little kindness and cheer with some thoughtful gifting. We could all use it.
Of course, budgets are tight and unemployment is high (as is the traditional holiday stress) so we arent promoting the capitalist machine. But we are promoting the idea that if youre going to give gifts this year, shop local. Support small businesses as they too struggle to make their way through this pandemic.
In this years Gift Guide youll find a collection of suggestions to spark some inspiration or literal purchases from local boutiques something for everyone on your list.
Please note, this is obviously not a representation of every single local small business or every gift inside the included businesses; just use this as a starting point and reminder to support your neighbors.
