Join us at the Weston Art Gallery for the opening reception for Emil Robinson: Evidence. Emil Robinson’s (Cincinnati, OH) paintings meticulously render his immediate environment while casting doubt on the primacy of physical reality by emphasizing ephemeral concerns like light, color, and semiotic playfulness. Conversely, his sculptures propose new durable forms built from specific details of memories. In all the artist’s works, simple formal decisions emit a spiritual energy.
