There is a new floral and plant shop thats blooming in Greater Cincinnati. Colerain Township's Buds is open and ready to meet all your flower needs and then some.
The shop is run by Donna Hoffman and Emily Bosse-Woolum, who decided to take the next step after years of creating centerpieces and bouquets at home for weddings. They wanted the ability to still function as a floral shop while they ventured out into more DIY activities.
Buds boasts a wide selection of pre-made arrangements and fresh flowers daily as well as arrangements that can be ordered to your specifications. What really sets Buds apart is their DIY options. Visitors can build their own bouquets and succulent gardens, or work on larger projects for events.
For example, they welcome bridal parties to build their own bouquets, centerpieces and even boutonnieres. It's a guided service that isnt out of reach for a bride on a budget.
This is a unique way to spend quality time with friends and family prior to their special day, says Hoffman.
Theyll help you take care of everything from storage to delivery to help make sure that your big day goes smoothly.
The floral shop works closely with Garen and Tim Colina of
Two Moons Farm, a new flower farm based out of Moscow, Ohio.
Hoffman and Bosse-Woolum are also opening up their shop to rent for small gatherings such as baby showers, birthday parties or for hosting classes. They hope it will provide a perfect cozy space for all kinds of small celebrations.
Buds host their own classes in the shop as well. They currently have a "paint or monogram bourbon barrel lids" event on Tuesday, Nov. 10, and they plan to add more classes to their calendar very soon.
The floral shop is located at 3575 West Kemper Road in Colerain Township.
