Katherine Colborn: Sheltering in Smoke Opening Reception

Join us at the Weston Art Gallery for the opening reception for Katherine Colborn: Sheltering in Smoke. In an effort to counter feelings of distance, upheaval and anxiety, Katherine Colborn (Cincinnati, OH) employs painting as a means of quiet resistance. Through her intimate paintings, she reflects upon transience and domestic life, protected spaces and themes of threshold and sanctuary. The opening reception for Sheltering in Smoke will be held on Friday, January 20 from 6-8 p.m. and is free and open to the public. The exhibition runs through March 5, 2023.
