Mary Jo Bole: Family White Elephants

Join us for the opening reception for Mary Jo Bole: Family White Elephants. Bole (Columbus, OH) is a collector and researcher seeking the underbelly of her part of the world. In drawings, prints, sculptures, and an upcoming first-person documentary film, she explores her family’s industrial history and the lineage of women who preserved it. Bole is a product of a faded Victorian culture experienced in an equally fading Cleveland, filtered through the counter-culture and the punk scene from her youth and Lake Erie. The opening reception is free and open to the public. The exhibition runs through January 15, 2023.
