Paddlers enjoy Ohio River Paddlefest

When: Sat., Aug. 6, 7 a.m.-2 p.m. 2022

The Ohio River Paddlefest is recognized as the nation’s largest paddling celebration, with 2,000 participants traveling through downtown Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky in canoes, kayaks and other human-powered craft. Paddlers can choose between the traditional 9-mile paddle and a half-distance (4.5-mile) Paddlefest MINI. The paddle concludes with a festival featuring beer, music and food. Event proceeds benefit Adventure Crew, which takes city teens in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky on free outdoor adventures such as hiking, biking and kayaking.
