Over the weekend, the highly anticipated Homecoming music festival was held at Smale Riverfront Park, and presented concurrently with MusicNOW, a New Music and avante-garde arts fest that was founded in 2006 in Cincinnati by Bryce Dessner of The National. The Cincinnati-bred National headlined both nights of Homecoming and were joined by critically praised featured acts from the Indie Rock world like Feist, Father John Misty, Future Islands, The Breeders, Moses Sumney, Alvvays and others.
