The grand opening date for The View at Shires' Garden has been announced — and it's soon. Beginning at 6 p.m. on July 19 you can enjoy elegant cocktails and delightful bites with swanky rooftop views of the city and riverfront.
The View at Shires' Garden, by Ignite Entertainment (owners behind Cincinnati favorites like Che, Butcher and Barrel, Lola's, The Birdcage and more), is located on the 10th floor of downtown's City Club Apartments.
The new 6,000 square-foot rooftop spot will feature an indoor dining room, an outdoor patio, two full bars, outdoor small and group dining and cocktail tables with impeccable views. The décor will mix modern furnishings with the style of the original Shires’ Gardens from the 19th century — a historic Queen City amusement resort of sorts in this same spot at Vine and Third streets.
David Bever, experienced chef at local eateries including The Eagle, Orchids at Palm Court and Jean-Robert’s Table, will lead the culinary team for this new project. Lunch and dinner will be served seven days a week with weekend brunch on Saturday and Sunday.
The weekend-long grand opening celebration will feature live music, the complete dinner menu and bar offerings.
