In the second program of its series The Belletrists, CSI explores an array of settings from the monumental poet Friedrich Rückert. From well-known songs by Gustav Mahler to hidden gems from Richard Strauss, Clara Schumann, and Robert Schumann, the depth and poignancy of Rückert’s words shine through this glimmering program. Join artists Rhoslyn Jones, Samuel Kidd, Christina Lalog Seal, and Allen Perriello as they perform Clara and Robert Schumann, Gustav Mahler, and Richard Strauss.
