The Cincinnati Community Orchestra Performs Pictures in Sound

The Cincinnati Community Orchestra presents imagery-inspired orchestral works at its concert Saturday, December 3 at 7:30 pm. Featured on the program is George Walker’s Icarus in Orbit, to mark the 100th birthday of the first African American composer to win the Pulitzer Prize. The concert also presents works by Bartok and Sibelius, and closes with Mussorgsky’s masterwork, Pictures at an Exhibition. The CCO performs at Church of the Saviour United Methodist, 8005 Pfeiffer Rd. Concert and parking are free.
