My Furry Valentine is hosting its first-ever summer adoption extravaganza featuring more than 700 available animals — dogs, cats, kittens, puppies and other little critters — that you can take home this weekend.
Some of these sweet pets have had it a little harder than others in life, resulting in behavioral issues, health issues, etc., meaning that they need some extra love and attention from their new families. These pets are known as “spotlight pets.” According to Lisa Jones, MFV’s event manager, “Many of these animals are in a foster home and those families get to know their personalities very well and can attest to their unique qualities and under what circumstances the animal would do really well.” Some of these pets will be at the event, others may stay back with their foster families due to anxiety issues. If you’re interested in meeting one of these good boys or girls, reach out to the provided contact listed with the photo.
Keep in mind that each adoption agency has their own application process— for more info about MFV’s available pets, visit myfurryvalentine.com.
