Anissa Lewis: Open Lots (We All Rise)

Artist Anissa Lewis revisits her childhood neighborhood to reconcile her memories with the present-day neighborhood’s changing social fabric, identity, and architecture. The opening reception will be held on Friday, June 16, 6-8 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Tours will be available with our Docentitos youth docents the night of the opening and by request throughout the summer. Contact Vanessa Holmes at [email protected] for more information. A Gallery Talk with Anissa Lewis will be held on Saturday, July 8, at 2 p.m. The exhibition runs June 16 – August 20, 2023. Gallery will be closed July 4.
