Mychaelyn Michalec: Not to Stifle, but to Clarify Opening Reception

Join the Weston Art Gallery for the opening of artist Mychaelyn Michalec’s exhibition, Not to Stifle, but to Clarify. Using both mechanical and hand tools, Michalec (Dayton, OH) creates large-scale textured wool rugs depicting the effects of time on the body, self-identity, sexuality, and changing familial relationships as midlife women move through new phases in their lives. The exhibition runs June 16 – August 20, 2023. The Gallery will be closed on Tuesday, July 4.
