SPIDEROCKS: A Mark Todd Solo Art Show Opening Reception
Mark shows an ever deepening interest in deconstructing comic art from his childhood. Over the years his works seem to be getting more abstracted allowing more of a true collaboration with his idols Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko. His faux naive style reveals an understanding not just of the power of comic book iconography, but of the nature of memory. He’s shown in museums and galleries worldwide, and he is now bringing his unique take on comic heroes to Earth To Kentucky.
