Stained Glass Fusing Class

Compatible glass can be melted in a kiln, creating many functional and/or decorative items. Learn basic stained glass cutting techniques, what constitutes compatible glass, preparing molds, basic firing information and fusing. Students will be able to create up to three different items which will then be fired off site over the studio’s molds that have been chosen by the student. While students will not be able to see the actual fusing process as firing will be done offsite, they will see several items that have been previously fused.
