Potato lovers, rejoice! A festival devoted to the highly-esteemed spud is hosting its inaugural event in Dayton this fall

Potato lovers, rejoice! A festival devoted to the highly-esteemed spud is hosting its inaugural event in Dayton, Ohio this fall.

Potatoes N' Such: Dayton Potato Festival will take place on Sept. 12 at downtown Dayton's Courthouse Square. The event is a celebration of all things tater, and for those who share a love for such a spud. The event is also a way for vendors to show off their creative culinary skills and bring awareness to their brands.

Vendor applications are now open; click here to apply. Out-of-city and state vendors are welcome and all menus must include at least one potato-based item.

Potatoes N' Such: Dayton Potato Festival will take place noon-8 p.m., Sept. 12 at Courthouse Square, 23 N. Main St., Dayton.
