East meets West at Landlocked Social House when Covington’s premier Amer-Asian restaurant and Japanese beers rarely seen in this hemisphere come together in savory harmony.

Pair AmerAsia’s pork bao and steamed veggie buns with a can of Kiuchi Brewery’s citrusy Yuzu Lager — complete with an adorable cartoon owl — or some 8 percent ABV ginger beer on tap. Free glassware will be given out to lucky early attendees.

Unwind after your week has begun and take your palate on a trip across the Pacific Ocean.

6 p.m. Feb. 18. Free admission. Landlocked Social House, 648 E. McMillan St., Walnut Hills, facebook.com/landlockedsocialhouse
