Angilo’s Pizza in Sharonville is now open after being closed for nearly a year.

In November, an SUV plowed into the store during operation. Due to the damage, the store was boarded up and closed indefinitely. But on Sept. 28, the local pizza chain shared on its Facebook page that the Sharonville location is now open for business.

"Angilo’s has the best steak hoagies in the world, and I am happy to bring them back to the Sharonville community," owner Joseph Sucato says in a press release.

The reopening and ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at the restaurant Oct. 7 at 10:30 a.m. Additionally, the restaurant is holding a contest beginning Sept. 28 in which participants are eligible to win one free meal a month for a year from the restaurant if they perform specific steps on social media (Visit Angilo's Facebook page for details).

Angilo's is a local pizza and hoagie chain that has been in operation since 1958. Each restaurant is individually owned and operated, according to its website.

The restaurant chain recently closed its Covington location of 60 years due to economic and distribution issues, moving its customers to share their sadness and memories on social media.

Angilo Pizza's Sharonville location can be found at 11102 Main Street.
