Cincinnati's West Side will soon be caffeinated by the community-centric coffee chain BIGGBY Coffee.
Franchise owners Deb and Jon Mills are opening the Queen City's second location of the brand in Monfort Heights on Tuesday, Oct. 27; they opened their Red Bank Road location in fall of 2019.
After a successful year (even despite the pandemic), Deb and Jon, along with their three kids, are spreading their love for connection and coffee to a new neighborhood.
“Since last year, we have been incredibly grateful that the city has embraced us, our family and our friendly staff, especially during these tough times. We want to continue spreading love through our coffee and have a positive impact on our local community," Deb Mills said in a press release.
Deb and Jon left their corporate jobs to pursue the franchise, with dreams of living more fulfilling lives and connecting more with their community by partnering through local causes including schools, churches and nonprofits.
“In my corporate job, I didn’t feel like I was doing something that I really enjoyed or making an impact in my community. It’s awesome to know that we have an outlet to engage with our community and make a difference,” Deb said.
The West Side franchise will be located at 5434 North Bend Road in Monfort Heights, and will be offering free coffee to the first 25 guests on opening day (Oct. 27), as well as providing free swag throughout the day to lucky visitors.
