Oktoberfest season is upon us and, to get in the spirit, some local businesses have collaborated on a tasty event.
Head to OTR's Rookwood Pottery on Sept. 21 to enjoy a special beer and cheese pairing, led by local beer historian and author Mike Morgan and cheesemonger Stephanie Webster of The Rhined.
A selection of beer will be on hand from Christian Moerlein, while The Pickled Pig will be providing the cured meats. Guests get their own mini stein to take home and the pairing includes a behind-the-scenes tour of the studio, taking a look at Rookwood's beer stein archives.
There are two different sessions — one at 11 a.m. and one at 1 p.m.
If you spend $25 in the showroom, you will receive a $10 credit with your tour ticket.
