Buona Terra Gelato and Crepes in Mount Lookout is hosting a heck of a delicious party on Friday night. From 7-9 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26, Buona Terra is partnering with Holtman's Donuts to offer a limited amount of gelato-donut sandwiches. There will be 100 total sandwiches, with flavors including pumpkin donut with cheesecake gelato, maple-bacon donut with maple mascarpone gelato and a sprinkled donut with your choice of 24 flavors of gelato/sorbetto.
If you happen to miss out on the donut action, you can still enjoy any of their gelato flavors: stracciatella, vanilla bean, chocolate, pistachio, salted caramel, chocolate biscotti, hazelnut, tiramisu (Third Place at CityBeat's Sugar Rush Event 2014), coffee, almond florentine, mint, toasted coconut, creme brulee, cheesecake (Best of the City Award 2013), cookies n' cream, Nutella, birthday cake, tart cherry mascarpone, white chocolate lavender, earl grey, chai, peanut butter, cinnamon, banana bread or strawberry basil. Or their sorbetto flavors: lemon blueberry (vegan), blood orange (vegan), summer berry, blackberry, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, pineapple and peach.
