Cincinnati-based Busken Bakery is celebrating the little things in life. They're keeping their ovens on to help spread a little cheer during these challenging times, and taking some creative steps to bring some joy (and laughs) to families across the city.
Busken has come out with specialty "Quarantine Cakes," designed to look like a roll of toilet paper — a coveted symbol in these tryin' times.
“We are making Quarantine Cakes that allow families to have miniature celebrations at home,” said Brian Busken, Busken vice president, in a press release. “Our newest creation is the Toilet Paper Cake. It is important that we continue to laugh together as families and enjoy our time together with our children.”
The cakes cost $19, serve six to seven people and must be ordered two days in advance of preferred pick up. The cakes are only available at the Hyde Park location and must be picked up.
In addition to TP cakes, the bakery is also offering DIY cookie decorating kits for families to create together, which will be available this weekend, along with all of your Busken favorites.
“Call ahead and we'll put together a comfort package of your favorite treats and bring it out to your car curbside,” the press release reads.
