Just in time for 4/20, marijuana-themed sandwich chain Cheba Hut "Toasted" Subs is opening a location in the Queen City.

Local franchise owners Ron and Allison Hamilton have experience in the food and beverage industry from their 17 years operating a commercial photography studio, which "inspired them to look into food brands that would allow them to expand their capital and explore new business opportunities," an email from the franchise's PR group reads.

The sandwich shop will be located at 2614 Short Vine St. in Corryville near Dive Bar.

And, sorry to snuff your puff, but you won't get high from these sammies, which is apparently a common misconception, the website says

The menu has plenty of subs to choose from, available with meat or veggie, with ganja-themed names like Chronic, Dank and the Magic Mushroom. They also have a hefty menu of "munchies" like the meatball cup, Bowl O' Balls, Loaded Not'Chos plus salads, sweets and drinks.

The Arizona-based restaurant chain was founded in 1998 and hopes to offer a laid-back environment to munch on homegrown food. For more info, visit chebahut.com.
