Peace, love and plant-fueled chili – you can find all these things at the fifth annual Cincy VegFest this June.
Foodies, environmentalists, music lovers and more are invited to the free festival at the Burnet Woods bandstand in Clifton on June 10 from noon to 6 p.m.
“From beautiful humans like Danielle Delaine of Herban Vegans and Naimah Sams of To Be Vegan and Black and Like Mom’s Only Vegan presenters, performers, vendors, and exhibitors alike come together under the shared common values of peaceful, compassionate plant-sourced living,” organizers said in a release.
This year, the event is highlighting its Vegan Chili Cook-Off. Anyone is welcome to enter the contest for $15. Tasting tickets are also available for $9 if you pre-purchase online or $12 for day-of. You can see all the contest rules and buy tickets here.
Cincy VegFest will also be hosting food demos with some of Cincinnati’s favorite plant-based chefs, music from local artists and plenty of vegan food. There will also be a pre-event family yoga session at 10 a.m. and an all-levels community yoga session at 11 a.m.
If you can’t attend the event in person, it will also be live-streamed.
