Shalini Latour of Chocolats Latour is now offering a Chocolate Bar Club. Sign up and start getting chocolate delivered to your door by mid-October — even out of state. As part of the club, you'll get three chocolate bars each month from October to April, including new and seasonal flavors.

Chocolats Latour is made with fair-trade chocolate, using local ingredients and earth-friendly packaging. Latour started making chocolate at the age of 14, later becoming a pastry chef and baker (with a stint at the BonBonerie). In 2009, she took a course at the Barry Callebaut Chocolate Academy and now crafts unique, flavored chocolates. Flavors include things like Bollywood, dark chocolate with turmeric, curry, mango, coconut and golden raisins; Perfume of Provence, white chocolate with lavender, lemon and sea salt; and Hot Nut, with toasted pecans, sweet carmel and local chili powder.

Latour has started the club as a way to start gaining capital to move to a commercial kitchen. The small business is doing it in steps, renting a space in a commercial kitchen incubator and updating packaging, equipment and shipping supplies.

The club is $120, and includes shipping. (Email Latour for international shipping rates.) Join the club via her etsy shop
