Cincinnati Public Schools launched its free breakfast and lunch meal pick-up for remote learners today.
CPS students — or their parents/guardians — can grab five-day meal packs at the school in which they're enrolled every Wednesday from noon-4 p.m. The packs contain five breakfasts and five lunches.
Breakfast options include a blueberry biscuit, peach cobbler biscuit, egg and cheese English muffin, egg and cheese bowtie, pancake and sausage stick, French toast sticks and a Hawaiian chicken sausage slider. Reheating instructions are available at cps-k12.org.
Lunches include chicken drumsticks, fish nuggets, a fish filet sandwich, chicken tenders, pizza slices, cheesesticks and ravioli, a turkey meatball sub, rotini in meat sauce, frozen vegetables, dried beans, a bean and cheese burrito, pizza bread, taco sticks and a chili cheese coney. Reheating instructions are available at cps-k12.org.
To get your food packs, families can show proof of enrollment via a student ID, report card, the remote meal pack flyer sent out or another official document with the child's name on it.
