Cincinnati Public Schools Offering Boxes of Free Fresh Produce for Families on Thursdays

The USDA is giving away free 22-pound boxes of fresh fruit and veggies via CPS each Thursday. One box per family on a first-come, first-served basis.

Every Thursday starting June 18, Cincinnati Public Schools is giving away free 22-pound boxes of fresh produce from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to families on a first-come, first-served basis.

All you need to do is head to 2315 Iowa Ave., between Mt. Auburn and Walnut Hills, on Thursdays. The boxes of fresh fruit and veggies will be handed out between 11 a.m. and noon. CPS says all families are eligible for one box per household per week.

Stay in your car and pull up to the cones in front of the building.
