Frisch's Big Boy has taken its grilled cheese offerings up a notch with the introduction of a Grippo's Bar-B-Q Chip-infused melted sandwich.
Yes. That's melted American cheese sprinkled with crunchy, tangy Grippo's chips sandwiched between two pieces of Texas toast.
But that's not the only new grilled cheese creation on the menu.
They've also added a four-cheese grilled cheese with parmesan, provolone, Swiss and American; and a club melt with ham or turkey plus bacon, tomato and American cheese.
Possibly in a move to give novel local grilled cheese chain Tom & Chee a run for its money, the restaurant is also now serving a creamy tomato bisque soup.
But what if you hate cheese and love peanut butter? They have two new dessert-style options that combine peanut butter and chocolate.
There's a Peanut Butter Pie Baby, a tiny single-serving pie with peanut butter inside, a whipped topping and chocolate drizzle and peanuts on top.
And a Peanut Butter Chocolate Frappe — basically a frozen hot chocolate with crunchy peanut butter, whipped topping and peanuts. If you want to go wild, you can add cold brew coffee to that one.
All new menu items are available for dine-in, carry-out, drive-thru and delivery.
