Two great things will collide at this year's inaugural INKED event at Over-the-Rhine's Rhinegeist Brewery on Nov. 23. The event is a celebration of "all things ink," inviting local tattoo artists to tattoo in the taproom while Rhinegeist releases variants of its Ink stout.

INKED will feature artists from five favorite tattoo shops — White Whale, Black Fern, Handcraft Tattoo, Got Ink? and Get Up Tattoo Society — who will be applying live, pre-selected flash tattoos to customers.

Rhinegeist will be providing the liquid courage, releasing its seasonal imperial stout, Ink, at the event.

“Ink stands up well to barrel aging, and its roasty chocolate flavor is a great base for additions like coffee, cacao nibs or coconut," says Rhinegeist barrel master Mitch Doughtery in a release.

As such, multiple variants of Ink will be available at INKED, plus a flight of one-off experimental versions of the beer. Guests can expect variants including Café Ink, Molé Ink, Coconut, Cacao & Almond Ink, BA Ink, BA Café Ink, BA Coconut & Cacao Ink, BA Sappy Ink, BA Rye Ink and Ink Float (a rootbeer float-inspired variant). There will also be vintage versions of Ink beginning from 2015

The event is free to attend; draft and bottled Ink variants will be available for purchase at the event, as will flash tattoos.

Noon-10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23. Rhinegeist, 1910 Elm St., Over-the-Rhine.
