What better to push you through a mid-week slump than some friends, fresh brews and delicious breakfast pastries?
Taft’s Brewing Company is collaborating with Peace, Love & Little Donuts to host a Beer + Donut Pairing Wednesday night event.
Peace, Love & Little Donuts in Hyde Park opened early last year and offers "tennis ball-sized," made-to-order donuts with 36 flavor options to choose from.
Making an appearance at Taft's Brewpourium are the S’mores Donut paired with Cherrywood Amber Ale, the Powdered Sugar Donut paired with Maverick Chocolate Porter, the Blueberry Pancake Donut paired with Nellie's Lemon Frosty Ale and the Coffee & Cream Donut paired with Beautiful Harmony English Mild.
Upon entering, you'll be handed your pairing worksheet, brews and donuts. You can discover your favorites and take as little or as much time as you want to explore and compare flavors.
The event takes place at Spring Grove Village's Taft’s Brewpourium between from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 20.
Tickets cost $12 and can be purchased online. Each ticket can be exchanged for a flight of four beers, tastefully paired with a decadent donut.
Before or after the event, guests are welcome to sip on some discounted brews in the taproom. Your ticket also includes a wristband at the door, which can be used to get $1 off pints for the night.
To comply with social distancing, each ticket is good for a one-hour time slot.
Taft’s Brewpourium is located at 4831 Spring Grove Ave. and there is parking available onsite.
