Cincy Summer Beerfest

The 11th annual summertime Cincy Beerfest will have a change of venue, moving from Great American Ball Park to Smale Riverfront Park for a single-day, two-session fest on Saturday, Aug. 3.

The venue change is the second in a row — last year saw the event move from Fountain Square to the ballpark.

The fest promises to offer hundreds of craft beers hailing from over 90 breweries, plus views of the city and the beauty that is the Ohio River (yeah, it's brown, whatever), sips from distilleries and wineries, live music and a silent disco.

The event is split into two parts: a day session and a night session. For the former, early admission ticket holders are allowed entry starting at 12:30 p.m. Regular admission tickets start at 1:30 p.m., with the first session closing at 4:30 p.m.

The night session starts at 7 p.m. for early admission, 8 p.m. for regular and ends at 11 p.m.

Ticket prices range from $40-$55 depending on whether or not you want early admission or purchase them in advance or the day of. Admission includes 25 sample tickets and a souvenir beer mug.

For all the designated drivers out there, tickets only cost $20 and include a $5 coupon for on-site food trucks and free soft drinks/water. Proceeds will benefit the Big Joe Duskin Musical Education Foundation, dedicated to supporting music programs in underfunded schools
