Cincinnati’s 14th annual two-night beer extravaganza has been moved to April 1-2.
Organizers of Cincy Winter Beerfest say in a release that the rescheduling was due to the recent rise in COVID-19 cases and “their commitment to help protect the safety of all that will be attending.”
“Obviously, it’s not a fun conversation to have, but the best time to bring everyone back together to enjoy an event of this size is when cases aren’t spiking beyond the point they were when we took a year off,” says event co-founder Matt King. “We’re hopeful that waiting a few more months will be the perfect time to host the festival.”
After a year off due to COVID, the celebration of all things hops-related was originally scheduled for Feb. 11-12, 2022 at the Duke Energy Convention Center
In April, over 400 local and regional craft beers from 130 breweries will be featured at the “biggest party of the winter,” organizers say in a release.
Tickets are available for purchase now. Already purchased tickets will be valid for the new dates.
