Cincy Winter Beerfest Postponed Until 2022

As much as we'd love to drown our sorrows in copious amounts of beer this season, the festivities will have to wait until next winter

Cincy Winter Beerfest 2020

Yes, another one bites the dust. And by "one" we mean downtown's annual Cincy Winter Beerfest — a weekend-long festival devoted to beer... and eating homemade pretzel necklaces.

Organizers behind the event made the decision to postpone the festival (which was scheduled for March 6-7 at the Duke Energy Convention Center, aka where The SimpsonsPrincipal Skinner and Superintendent Chalmers visited on their trip to Cincinnati this past Sunday) until February 4-5, 2022.

But, to make a bummer situation a little less bummer-y, they are offering early-bird tickets at a discounted price of $35 for the first 500 tickets sold — after which the price will increase to $40 through Dec. 31.

The tickets will be available for the next three Beerfest events: 2021 Cincy Summer Beerfest at Smale Riverfront Park in July 2021; Cincy Winter Beerfest at Duke Energy Convention Center on Feb. 4 and 5, 2022; and the Cincy Summer Beerfest in summer of 2022.

A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales benefit the Big Joe Duskin Music Education Foundation.
